Is it just a pink eye or is it a symptom of Covid-19 infection?
Pink eye and Covid-19 may be more related than you know. Patients with COVID-19 infection can present in many ways. One of the symptoms include conjunctivitis which is an infection of the conjunctiva or more commonly identified as the white part of the eye. Conjunctivitis may be the ONLY initial symptom, so don’t take it lightly!
To date, there’s no effective treatment or vaccines available against the Covid-19 pandemic. Practice personal hygiene, social distancing and abide by the MCO. Remember you are not stuck at home but safe at home. We are in this together. The virus does not discriminate. It affects everyone equally. So let us work together to eradicate this disease.
