In Malaysia, Glaucoma is the second most leading cause of blindness. it contributes to 6.6% of blindness in patient 50 and above according to National Eye Survey II done in 2014. Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the eye’s optic nerve, which can lead to vision loss and eventually blindness.
